Chanukah in 2011 will start on Wednesday, the 21st of December and will continue for 8 days until Wednesday, the 28th of December.

Note that in the Jewish calander, a holiday begins on the sunset of the previous day, so observing Jews will celebrate Chanukah on the sunset of Tuesday, the 20th of December.
